You do not need to install Flash Player.
Use the following steps to allow Flash content in Microsoft Edge:
Click Settings near the bottom of the menu that appears
Click View advanced settings under the Advanced Settings header
Note for future readers, I found this article which explains the Adobe-offered adobeprtk trick. This allows you to activate Adobe Acrobat DC using only the serial number, and Acrobat will no longer ask you to sign in to use it. Exactly how it should be. In case you don't want to read the article, it's really easy.
- Copy the generated activation code back and click on Activate; Click on Launch or close the Window, exit Adobe Application; When installation finished, run the ‘disableactivation.cmd‘ file (as administrator) or add the text lines below manually to the bottom of your hosts file: # Adobe Blocker; 127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com.
- The applications we've linked to will find the serial number for any recent edition of Acrobat, including Adobe Acrobat DC (Pro or Standard), Adobe Acrobat X, Adobe Acrobat 9, etc. For example, Belarc Advisor, one of our favorites (and the program shown in the example below), will properly locate the serial number for any version of Adobe.

In Microsoft Edge navigate to the website that is missing Flash content
On the top right-hand side of the address bar you may notice icon
Click icon which will display a flyout Adobe Flash content was blocked
Click Allow onceto allow Flash content to run on that page for just one time.

Click the icon in the missing Flash content to display a flyout indicating Adobe Flash content was blocked.
Click Allow once to allow Flash content to run on that page for just one time.
